Alina, creator of Fearless Sleep

About me

Hi, I’m Alina. I’m a former insomniac, certified sleep coach, and the creator of Fearless Sleep.

For the past five years, I’ve been writing, creating videos, teaching, and working with people navigating insomnia recovery. Again and again, I’ve seen that people can understand the ideas intellectually, but still feel lost when they’re awake at night, when life gets unpredictable, or when recovery does not unfold the way they expected.

That is often when we need a little more structure, guidance, and an environment that helps us keep returning to the principles, even through the bumpy segments.

Fearless Sleep is not a method or a strategy. It is an entirely different way of relating to sleep and life — a philosophy, if you will. It is not about forcing sleep, trying harder, or finding the trick that finally works. It is about understanding the fear cycle, lowering the pressure around sleep, and learning to relate to wakefulness, feelings, thoughts, and setbacks in a different way.

Things I firmly believe:

  • You are not broken; you are just scared.
  • No one and nothing can take away your innate ability to sleep.
  • You already have what it takes to recover. You may just need help uncovering it within yourself.
  • You are stronger and more capable than you might think.
  • You can recover, even if your personal circumstances are not perfect.

What insomnia recovery feels like

It is not finding a fail-proof strategy and hoping it will “work” forever. It is also not about working hard to maintain a perfect streak. And it is definitely not about controlling sleep.

It is about letting the body do what it already knows how to do. When we stop trying so hard to make it happen, sleep becomes much more organic and effortless. We slowly learn how to get out of our own way.

  • Going to bed without a plan or safety measures
  • Not obsessively checking the clock or tracking sleep
  • No longer panicking when the night is not perfect
  • Having a full day and realising we barely thought about sleep
  • Finding meaning in life again, laughing, and making plans
  • Trusting the body and fully delegating the job of sleep to it

Who the Library is for

The Library is for anyone navigating insomnia recovery who wants a structured, non-performative, steady space to learn and move forward at their own pace.

  • Just starting your recovery journey and needing a sense of direction and clarity.
  • Already on the path but looking for a place to check in and stay on track when things get wobbly.
  • Ready to go deeper into understanding recovery without piecing together hundreds of articles, YouTube videos, and Reddit threads.
  • Craving a supportive environment without the noise of social media or overwhelming Facebook advice that can make you feel worse.

It is a place where we drop performance and pressure. No need to show up perfectly; come as you are and stay for as long as it feels helpful.

Frequently asked questions

What about the cancellation policy?

You can cancel your membership at any time. You will still have full access to the Library until the end of the month that you payed for.

You can cancel it yourself in your account settings (see the Billing section) – please do so from your computer. Or simply email me at alina@fearlesssleep.com before you get charged for the new month and I will help you with that!

And you are always welcome to come back at any time 🤗.

Is it only for beginners? Can I still join if I’ve been on the path for over a year?

Absolutely! The Library offers a range of materials that are helpful not just for beginners, but also for those who’ve been on the recovery path for a while. Whether you’re just starting, deep in the process, or further along — the Library can support you in navigating the stage you’re in.

Will I receive individual coaching there?

The Library is a space for self-guided learning, with helpful structure, explanations, and general guidance. However, it isn’t individual or group coaching. You’re free to explore the content at your own pace — with no deadlines or pressure. If you’re looking for more personalized support, you may want to consider booking individual calls.

Is there a long-term commitment?

Nope! The Library is a monthly membership that you can cancel anytime. You can stay for as long as you would like with no pressure.

Is this a community, or just content?

As of now, the Library is content-first – created to give you clarity and direction. That said, there are community elements: you can engage in comments, share reflections, or simply read what others have shared. You are also more than welcome to participate in Library Live – live calls where we get to share ideas, encouragement and discuss various topics. You’re never pressured to post or interact unless you want to.

How much time does it take?

The Library is an open-ended resource. It is regularly updated and always evolving, so you can stay for as long as it feels helpful. There are no deadlines or fixed-programme pressure.

The Main Course has 35 lessons, released daily within the first 10 days, and you can start at any time! Beyond that, you are free to explore the growing number of posts, videos, and participate in the Live calls at your own pace.
